"I absolutely love fashion, and so does Kanye West. We have a very similar taste level. He wants his clothes to empower the women who wear them, and that's cool and interesting to me. ... He (and his close circle) are very well dressed and informed when it comes to fashion. ... They bring out some kind of language which is meant for them and their environment ... It's re-energized street cool. Usually something clicks with the people you like. My boyfriend, the designer Josh Goot, is a purist. He taught me to think about direction and products, but, at the same time, keep your integrity. He has an interesting attitude that I connect with.

I'm very opinionated about what I choose to wear. Silhouette, cut, and quality are very important to me. I don't spend hours getting ready though; it's more instinctive. ... "I travel a lot ... I have a suitcase that pretty much stays packed in my apartment. Because of this I often wear the same things when I travel: A lot of black, a couple of Balenciaga skirts, a Balmain blazer... Nothing too tricky."
